Hello, I’m Lily Morgan, a chef-turned-food photographer who discovered that capturing beautiful food could be just as creatively fulfilling as cooking it. After culinary school and five years in professional kitchens, a wrist injury forced me to reconsider my path—leading me to pick up a camera instead of a knife.

This unexpected detour became my true calling. Today, I create recipes specifically designed to be both delicious and visually stunning, with an emphasis on vibrant, plant-forward cooking that celebrates seasonal ingredients. My background in professional kitchens gives me a deep understanding of how food behaves, allowing me to anticipate and capture those perfect moments—steam rising from fresh bread, the ideal drip of glaze, or the rainbow interior of perfectly roasted vegetables.
My work has appeared in cookbooks for notable chefs, national food magazines, and advertising campaigns for specialty food brands. I also lead food styling and photography workshops, teaching home cooks how to better document their culinary creations.
What drives me is the belief that we eat with our eyes first. I create recipes that satisfy both the palate and the visual appetite, using natural light and minimal styling to let the inherent beauty of thoughtfully prepared food shine through.
In my home studio kitchen, simplicity reigns—quality ingredients, treated with respect, arranged with an artist’s eye, and shared with genuine joy.
